A Minimalist and Modular Approach to E-Commerce
Alışgidiş is an innovative marketplace platform by Fibabanka that aims to bring a minimalist perspective to the Turkish e-commerce ecosystem. As a Sr. Product Designer, my primary responsibility was to improve the user experience and build a sustainable, modular design system.

When I joined the project, my first step was to modernize the complex file structure. I established a transparent filing system that allowed stakeholders to access up-to-date designs easily, which improved operational efficiency. This foundation provided the disciplined environment necessary for design system integration.

I led a major concept change during the later stages of the project. I designed a flexible and modular design system that meets both desktop and mobile needs while adapting quickly to different themes. This structure shortened the design process for new screens and significantly accelerated component coding for the development teams.

After an intensive three-month production period, I led the design team in creating more than 300 screens. Built on a responsive architecture, these screens were automatically prepared for both light and dark modes thanks to our robust design system. Throughout the process, I managed the roadmap and maintained full synchronization with the product, software, and marketing teams.

Although Alışgidiş ceased operations in October 2025, it left behind a powerful design legacy. From research documentation to plans for a "headless" structure, we built a highly flexible ecosystem that stood out from its competitors and set high standards for the future.
