Paribu Custody

Institutional Digital Asset Storage

Paribu Custody is an end-to-end secure digital asset storage infrastructure designed for banks, financial institutions, and blockchain startups. As part of a four-person product design team, I focused on ensuring system sustainability and integrating Paribu’s design standards into this complex institutional solution.

The Status

When I joined, the interface was built on a poorly customized version of the Ant Design framework, which hindered long-term sustainability. My first step was to modernize the file management system to ensure easy access for all stakeholders. I then addressed the technical debt by refactoring the library using Figma variables and component variants to align it with Paribu’s core design language.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was to allow developers to leverage the Ant Design framework while providing users with a UI that felt authentic to the Paribu ecosystem. By updating library connections and refining components, we created a flexible system that maintains technical standards while staying true to Paribu’s visual identity.

The Process

I worked closely with the Information Architect and UX Writer to produce wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces. Although there was no formal lead position, my experience allowed me to take on an informal leadership role—guiding design decisions, coordinating with the software team, and collaborating with product managers on roadmap planning.

The Result

Through this process, we demonstrated how to achieve technical sustainability in a corporate financial product. Paribu Custody now features a scalable and maintainable architecture that offers framework convenience for developers and a premium Paribu experience for institutional users.
